What happens at a Private School Expo?
A Private School Expos is the best way for prospective families to visit with the many private schools and to get the best information on private school opportunities in their community on a single day. School representatives will be on-hand to answer attendees’ question with regard to admissions, academics, athletics, special needs and any other questions you have.

Each attendee will receive a program guide at the registration table tothat lists all schools partcipating in the expo. Families will be encouraged to register at the scholarship drawing. All of this information will be listed on the Private School Expos’ website geared towards potential families and the public-at-large. That website is: www.educationexpos.com

Why are these Expos so successful?

Three reasons mainly:
  1. Most families are comfortable and familiar with going to a mall in their community.
  2. An effective radio campaign targeting families is employed to make families aware of the private school expo. In the radio ads we include the names of the schools that will be exhibiting at the expo. The radio ad campaign runs for 2-3 weeks to make sure families hear about the expo. Don’t be surprised if you receive calls from families inquiring about the expo and wanting to know if your school will be there.
  3. Research supports that parents who listen to value-based radio stations are interested in a private school education for their children.

How many school information packets should a school bring to this event?
Based on our data and experience, each school should be prepared to hand out around 200-300 information packages.

Who should represent the schools at these events?
Anyone who is passionate about your school and knowledgeable about the admission process and school programs is a good choice to represent your school at the expo. Many schools start with their representatives who are responsible for Open House events at their school. Schools have also found that bringing a mature, well-spoken student as one of their three representatives allows them to better connect with and relate to the students that come to their booth.
